Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal for Digital Products

Consumers generally have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal.

For digital content (e.g., e-books, templates, software, audio or video files) that is not delivered on a physical data carrier, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if:

  • the entrepreneur has begun executing the contract after
  • the consumer has expressly agreed that the entrepreneur may begin executing the contract before the withdrawal period expires, and
  • the consumer has confirmed that they are aware that by beginning execution of the contract they lose their right of withdrawal.

By purchasing a digital product, you explicitly agree that execution of the contract begins before the withdrawal period expires. You also confirm that you are aware that you lose your right of withdrawal upon the start of the download or provision of the digital content.

A withdrawal after a successful download or access to the digital product is therefore no longer possible.

Right of Withdrawal for Services (e.g., creation of individual application documents)

For individually provided services, such as the creation or editing of application documents, the consumer also loses their right of withdrawal prematurely as soon as the entrepreneur begins execution, provided that:

  • the consumer has expressly agreed that execution may begin before the withdrawal period expires, and
  • the consumer has confirmed that they are aware that by beginning execution of the contract they lose their right of withdrawal.

By commissioning the creation or customization of your individual documents, you agree that the service execution begins before the withdrawal period expires and that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

A withdrawal after the service has begun is therefore no longer possible.
